April Showers bring May Flowers Blog Hop

Welcome to the April Jax Starz Blog Hop. They say April showers bring May flowers so this month we are challenging ourselves to make paper crafts that have flowers!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Amanda's Blog. You can follow the full blog hop lineup below to move along from blog to blog, so you can see all of the new projects.

I was lacking inspiration here, so I did what everyone else who has a creative block does....Search Pinterest for card ideas on Flowers. I came across a pin the used the Blossom punch with Bakers Twine and Buttons. The flower was super cute, the card....

Anyway, I wanted to give the flower a try, but had no idea what I was going to do with the rest of the card. After creating a different card with some friends, my creative juices were pouring out my ears, and Ta Da! here is the card...

So I think I need more work with the twine because it is a little uneven, but over all I think they look pretty good. Notice that I cut into the blossom and curled the paper with my bone folder to give it a little more added dimension. The blossoms are also double stacked, too.

I put a few glue dots on the back of the button to help lope and adhere the Bakers twine. Then I used the Tombo liquid glue to adhere the twine and button onto the blossom.

Hope you enjoyed my card. The next stop on the Jax Starz Blog Hop is Rose Ann's Stampin Pad! Thanks for visiting!
